"NINTENDO ORGANIZARÁ CAMPEONATO MUNDIAL DE POKÉMON EM 2009"
Para comemorar o lançamento de Pokémon Platinum
A Nintendo organizará em 2009 o primeiro campeonato mundial de batalhas com os monstrinhos de bolso, revelou hoje o site Famitsu.
O "Pokémon World Championships" tem como objetivo trazer representantes de todos os cantos do mundo para competir em um grande torneio de Pokémon - como os já organizados regionalmente, inclusive no Brasil.
As eliminatórias para selecionar o time que representará o Japão começarão em outubro desse ano, e terá como exigência que os participantes usem criaturas criadas na nova versão Platinum. Segundo o site, os primeiros detalhes sobre o torneio serão revelados em meados de agosto.
Com lançamento previsto para 13 de setembro no Japão, Pokémon Platinum é a edição que reúne todos os elementos presentes nas versões Diamond e Pearl em um só título. Além disso, o game trará novas criaturas lendárias, regiões para se explorar e outros extras.
O game não tem data de lançamento confirmada para os Estados Unidos. Ainda não há informações sobre outras eliminatórias do Campeonato Mundial.

Como foi visto na seção cards, estaria nas lojas em dezembro ainda desse ano, as caixas de Heatran e Regigigas mas esses dois lendarios não seriam level X...
então após dias de choro dos jogadores, a fabricante de pokémon TCG resolveu realizar o desejo de muitos, e para o pesadelos de outros, sera lançada junto a essas caixas uma versão um poco menos barata, onde vocês encontrarão as formas de nivel X dos dois monstrões da serie Diamond e Pearl, para recapitular ai vai o efeito de cada um deles
